Some time ago I announced the two-volume book project of my friend Markus Gärtner covering the German troops in the American war of Independence. The first volume is available at link

Yes, it is in German, but after the publication of the second volume in 2025/2026 the editor will prepare a combined book of both volumes in English :-)

Meanwhile Markus provided his research for new figure series of Black Watch Miniatures – you find the first (and future) series for the AWI at link … these may be ordered as STL-files or resin printouts.

And some of these figures may also be used as Prussian infantry in the seven years war :-)

Perhaps, the series are interesting for some of you … greetings from Berlin
Markus Stein

P.S. Markus Gärtner and me, we will also prepare some series of the napoleonic wars (of course well researched and covering more rare units)

Thank you for the information. I am particularly looking forward to the release of Napoleonic German units.
