WWII Japanese Paratroopers

World War Two Japanese Paratroopers by Mars. 1/72nd scale plastic figures.
Both the Imperial Japanese Navy and Army had paratroopers in WWII and they did see combat in small numbers a few times during the war.

One of those units that you can add to a "vanilla" army to make it more interesting.

You can use them in Java and in the Philippines.

79th, yes but they are useful and did participate in combat several times.

Certainly. My comment was in reference to the limited number of manufactuers that make these troops available for purchase.

Just curious if you know why they were cast in orange plastic? Instead of a color matching their uniforms. Going by the box art you posted, do you think orange is a helpful undercolor for Oriental skin color?
