Fitz, Does sound like thar's maybe that "sweet spot" sitting out on the horizon!? |

FlyXwire, They seem to be right at that sweet spot. I know I flubbed a bit running the game and there were some discussions during it, Overall I do believe we have a balance between playable and representing the era fairly well. Of course with each game system on needs to learn the nuances in order to capitalize on what you can and cannot do, but theses look good to me. |

I wondered how the rules were. Glad to hear that they give a good game. |

79th, Fitz will be running another demo here soon, and I'm looking forward to trying out the ACW set then, but I like what I've read of them so far. Now on the "club" level – it's impressive seeing all the periods that WoFun has Andy Callan-designed rules available for now. This to me just cries out – Great Usefulness! – for making the playing of multiple periods easier by using similarly-designed rulesets (all FREE downloads!).
Somebody on our shores needs to organize a WoFun convention. |
