OK, so I have been an historical wargamer and painter since I was 15 years old and these days supplement my Pension by painting on commission. When a friend offered to exchange his pristine copy of the 'Battle Cry' ACW game that I have been searching for for ages,(the 150th Anniversary Edition is almost impossible to find here in the UK now) for my painting time I jumped at the chance! The deal was 60 odd early GW figures, Terminator Marines/Genestealers/Tyrannids and I must say I'm really enjoying the challenge. David has been guiding me through and here are the results so far:

Great fun and if you want to see some of my current historical commission work maybe take a look at my latest short video? 3D printed Epic scale Nassau 2nd regiment, 3 battalions of 80 men.

I just enjoy painting model soldiers and have done for decades now :)

This is how I play 'Battle Cry, cut down Warlord 'Epic' strips, 6 per base, 4 bases per unit on my lovely printed rubber backed mat by 'Rollinmats'.

67, still a youngster.

I'm 75 next week and still painting GW termies etc on a commission basis.

Good going there Jim :) Hopefully a few years painting left me in me yet then!
Cheers,
Lee.

The BattleCry setup is inspiring. I'm not keen on cutting Warlord strips but I bet Baccus 6mm would work. I'll also check the STL sites
