Not a fan of Legion for several reasons. I've seen a smattering of photos/blogs online with folks using 15mm-10mm Star Wars minis. With 3d printing, everything can be had now! So, what rules are people using? Legion is skirmish. I'm looking for more of an army game. Pushing around several AT-AT's and AT-ST's. I just starting "googling" but thought I'd come here and see what everyone else has to say. Thanks |

I use Xenos Rampant in 8mm. If a unit has 5 strength points I represent it with 5 bases of infantry instead of 5 individual miniatures. For vehicles I do a vehicle for every 2 strength points (don't have anything as big as an AT-AT). I do clone wars so my AT-RTs are a unit of 5 vehicles. |

Wiley Games Bigger Battles. For SW skirmish I play either Wiley Games Galactic Heroes, Buck Surdu's Combat Patrol, or my friend Richard's 40K homebrew SW rules. |

Galactic Heroes works well and is easy to learn. |

I have used Mantic's Firefight rules with Legion figures. Works pretty well and it's easy to convert the unit stats to Star Wars. |

Isn't Mantic's Firefight more skirmish? I'm looking for rules that can handle larger games. |

How do you define large? Firefight can handle 50-70 figures per side. |

Hmmm…50-70 figures per side isn't small. I'll look into them. Thanks |
