"Guns blazing, horses rearing, real gunfights and bad guys falling on dusty streets.

If you took all the shootouts from the thousands of Western movies and added them together, you would have hundreds of hours of film devoted to smoking six guns…"

I would add Dawson City, Yukon Territory, Canada to that list. The place looks exactly the same as the Gold Rush years except the buildings are slowly deteriorating where they stand. Diamond Tooth Gertie's has a great dance hall show and the Sour-Toe drink at the Klondike Hotel has only been done by about 5500 people world-wide. My wife and I downed the famous Northern Canada drink 2 years ago during its 50th Anniversary year.

Went to Northfield once, after finding a place to park I found that the museum was only open for very limited days & time.

I had the same issue with Northfield, Minn. I actually parked right in front of the bank, but the museum was closed the day I was there.

I've been to Deadwood several times and they do a reenactment of the shooting of Wild Bill Hickok, the pursuit of Jack McCall and capture through the streets and finally the trial of McCall for his murder. It's pretty entertaining.

Ingalls, OK. You will have the place to yourself.

Just watched the Old West version of the Night of the Tommyknockers.
Found it interesting for a scenario or two,
I liked the cathouse over the saloon but no inside entrance. Only an outside one. I do not see any buildings in that style.
