Anyone have a phone number for Grubby Tanks? I placed an order months ago still no figures. And I tried email as well.

Thank you, didn't see it there.

From what I have read elsewhere, this business is being wound down. Also, the owner is difficult to reach and a few people have said that if you are trying to get orders filled from outside the UK you probably shouldn't bother…

A pity. I've bought from them, and rather liked their stuff…

The man is an absolute dishonest disgrace and a cheating petty thief No other words for him. My order was placed in July 2025 in the amount of $650 USD AUD I have sent numerous follow emails and made calls. He has answered 1 email with assurances that my order will be filled. As at today, I have received nothing and don't believe I ever will. My next step is to report him to his local police. DONT DEAL WITH HIM.

I had a similar experience and raised a PayPal dispute which was resolved very quickly and all my money was refunded. If you didn't use PayPal raise the issue with your credit card or bank.

What is more annoying is that he attends a number of the big UK shows with a trade stand. In the end, the way I got hold of figures was through a friend buying them direct at a show. It's no way to run a business.

Personally, I'm less inclined to think he's a crook than just incompetent and overwhelmed with orders. Communication is not his strength, he doesn't seem to get that he has an obligation to deliver once he takes your money and if he fails to deliver or communicate then he is being dishonest. He's the perfect example why hobbyists shouldn't run businesses in the hobby.
