I just got this set in my hot little hands. Huge selection, great detail, realistic proportions and poses. A full photo review here link

I sometimes wish I had more steady fingers to assemble these plastic gems. I especially like the box art of the archer giving his opponent "his fingers."

My biggest problem is that I break out the spare parts bin and get lost for hours customizing my minis so no two are alike.

I'm thinking of using them for a Robin Hood Merry men unit for LR, are there enough bows for twelve bowmen?

There are enough bows to make 25 bowmen by my count.

I wonder how well those peasant bodies would accept heads, arms, and weapons from Wargames Atlantic sci-fi kits?

In my experience the historical minis cross-pollinate very well. They look like they would work with the Near-Future Space Marines and the Cannon Fodder stuff but no so well with the hugely muscular Space-Nam line

Thanks for your input Gentlemen. metal figures are very nice but cost prohibitive at this point.

Would these guys fit into the age of Arthur as levy peasants?

Paul, this box is $40. USD For the same price you could get about 10 lead figures, how many do you need for your project? I need about 15 figures, so do I get this group can use half or buy lead Peasants?
