The US military is cracking down on words it doesn't like, and guess which famous bomber was caught in the crossfire.
Some other words they frown upon now that we have a new leader include black and female, but white and male still seem to be OK. Respect to all the black and gay TMP members and to the female members if we ever get one.

Yes, there's a lot of very silly things going on these days.

No it is the Trump administration that did It. The military was just following orders and I am sure they knew just how idiotic the orders were as they were carrying them out.

They also deleted Enisgn George Gay the only survivor of Torpedo 8 at the Battle of Midway. Might want to use a scalpel instead of an ax. I can only imagine the chaos this caused at federal musuems. The Smithsonian actually has the Enola Gay. Are they suppose to paint out the word "Gay." Not to mention thousands of photographs, documents etc.

Lots of silly things going on for the last 10+ years. Things like the military having a problem keeping track of how they spend their $$:
link

They need to clarify their priorities. The problem is that the two most inefficient groups in the US are running the show: politicians and the Pentagon. Give them at least six months before they reach their final conclusions.

The military is supposed to be uniform, not diverse. Diversity divides, we need to be united.

I bet certain people would be happy if Benghazi and Abbey Gate could be stricken as well.

The present administration is doing a lot of remarkably stupid things along with a few good things.

I am very troubled by the foreign affairs and trade moves that are taking place. Here's hoping the Europeans are able to rise to the occasion and handle Vlad.

As the article speculates, it seems they are letting AI do the initial flagging of problem photos, with humans doing the second pass.

I question some of the statements in the article. I question whether or not this whole "crack down" movement is from the current administration or left overs from the previous administration. The reason I question it is because the author of the article refers to the Museum in Dayton as the US Air Force Museum, which it is not called anymore. It's now known as the National Museum of the United States Air Force. It's been that for a number of years… Makes me wonder how much fact checking actually went into this.

Just saying,

Dave

Met Ensign Gay back in 1982 at an air show in Florida. Very nice guy.
Too much turmoil in the name thing. fort Benning changed to the deserving Fort Moore. Now it is back to Benning who was a corporal in WW1. They are having to waste tens of thousands on renaming sign and even stationary. So all of those guys who got reprimands and article 15 for having Benning on their clothing and hats will be ok now. Lol.

Buildings and road signs will remain Moore.

Dave,

Yes it is the National Musuem of the United States Air Force. It is still commonlly referred to as the Air Force Musuem. Even by people in goverment, the museum profession and the people who work there.

Funny how everytime the Trump ridiculous or illegal, his supporters try to shift the blame. It must be "paid outside aggetators."

Dave, I live 12 minutes from the "National Museum" and everyone around here still calls it The Airforce Museum.

OC, it's an age-old political trick unique to no-one.

We had a government here that had won three, consecutive terms in office &, over a decade from when they won power were STILL blaming the previous government for problems.

I guess the soft of head must buy it because ALL politicians do it.

I loved this one. Notice the Palestinian flag on his bike. I guess he is leaving this protest, and then is going to a pro Hamas protest elsewhere. Also his definition of freedom of speech. 😂🤣 so paid… ask Soros. 😉

See old Soros and others were doing it to "Old Joe" too.
So Soros is anti-Jew Jew. Just not a good guy.

Also plenty of stories out there as far back as 2013. MSM admitting to "paid protesters", was even a company advertising for them on Craigslist.

The protesters should be wearing brown shirts.

The connection between Nazi Germany and Palestine (Mandatory Palestine) involves the establishment of a Nazi party branch in the region, the Haavara Agreement facilitating Jewish emigration to Palestine, and the collaboration of some Palestinian leaders with the Nazis, including the Grand Mufti of Jerusalem, Mohammed Amin al-Husseini.

Thanks for the link. Indeed, we all do have them.
OZ, being a democracy, does have some problems with extremists but when we put them in gaol, they stay there. No pardons allowed.

35thOVI Supporting Member of TMP13 Mar 2025 5:22 p.m. PST

You are welcome.

Although some think we are a democracy, we are a Democratic Republic, although some say a representative Republic. So pardons allowed, by both parties.
