This week Contenti Company in Pawtucket, RI, USA announced they now have available 9" and 12" organic rubber mold sets for sale. Currently 9" single sets approx. $17 USD+ a set with bulk sales of 10 or more approx. less than $15 USD ea. Larger sizes coming later. Each one inch thick set comes in 8 x 1/8", layers with a vulcanized durometer of 60. I believe this is from a Canadian supplier. Also see my previous posting on this subject Re organic rubber supply. Update and caution:
The Contenti 800 series mold sets come wrapped in a blue plastic film that at first glance appears to be infused with the black rubber. But needs to be removed before vulcanizing. Best taken off by cutting an ‘X' into the plastic across the entire face of the mold set and peeling it off from the center.

I'm glad to hear there is a source for black rubber again. I'll give Contenti a trial run. I had massive problems with their molds 8 years ago – uneven quality of their rubber (not vulcanizing properly). They did not stand behind their product. I shifted suppliers and did not have any problems with their rubber.
