first attempt got hit by bug
quick question
in the 1950s most of nato had the m47 tank with 90mm gun
the russians had a tank called t-10 heavy tank
how would the m47 90mm gun have performed against the armor of the t-10

US heavy M103 tank, armed with a 120-mm gun, was only built in small numbers in the early 1950s and UK with Conquour

The M36 90mm gun shells used in the M47 would just have bounced off the T-10, unless they were using tungsten cored ammo at close range.

The M47 did have a ROF about three times higher than the T-10 though.

Pretty well everyone gave up on Heavy Tanks once MBTs were developed.
