It is somewhat humorous to think of the B-10 as a "heavy bomber," but considering the times, I guess it could have been. Certainly the B-25 bombers on Doolittle's raid carried more bombs. In these days when we have military aircraft flying that were built several decades ago and still look pretty much the same as when built (all the changes are internal and in the weaponry carried), it is amazing to see how rapidly aircraft visibly developed in both WWI and WWII.

I was not aware for this. I thought the AVG were the only mercenaries hired to fly for the National Chinese. Quite interesting.
