Alchemist Miniatures produces Alkemy now, and is still active at some level, still regularly sending out announcements.

Ah. If they are at current line OEM prices like the originals, it's beyond my price point… That also explains why EBay doesn't have them in my (bargain basement) price point.

I looked it up. A board game with miniatures. Cards. Custom dice. Not really my sort of thing.

I'd vaguely assumed it'd fallen of the edge of the earth long ago.

Never played myself, though I know some local guys bought many years ago.

Purely out of curiosity, why this one? To judge from the local game shop, if you bought a new board game with miniatures every month, you still wouldn't be keeping up with production. Is there something which makes this one stand out?
