Other than winter white. ;-) Are there any craft store colors that are close to the colors Russian tanks (mainly KV's & T-34'S) were painted? I expect there were many variations IRL, just wondering what y'all used to paint yours… ;-) Thanks! |

Go with Vallejo Russian green. With Delta ceramacote dropping a ton of colors that's the best bet. |

Agree with Titchmonster. I painted mine in Vallejo Russian Green 4BO. Other makers do 4BO too. My first port of call for tanks is Tank Encyclopedia which has plenty of photos and pics. Here's the link for the T34-85 link |

Nope, checked around, none of the usual local suspects carry that color (including one a 15 mile drive away), and paying 2x-3x the cost of the paint in shipping is a no go. So, no craft paint equivalents? Guess I'll have to improvise… |
