Well… Mostly classic lead, with a few new plastic molded and printed figures thrown in. I haven't seen most of these painted up anywhere on the Web, or if they are, google is hiding it from us. link |

Wow! Like opening a time capsule to the late 1970's to the early 1980's, me thinks. I drooled over the advertisements in the old Dragon magazines from the early 1980's. I could barely make out the figures in those really bad B&W ad's on the pages. I will always wonder what they really looked like, especially painted! Now I have a small idea of what they would be like. I very much appreciate your sharing these images. Thank you! Cheers! |

That Rafm winged chariot is pretty cool. |

I know that you mean, Sgt. Some of those old catalogs are available to review on the Lost Minis Wiki site. The photos in those 70's era catalogs always looked cool, sometimes with little dioramas included, but were low resolution black & white as you note. In the 80's when we got White Dwarf, the photos were greatly improved, and you could get a much better sense of what your painted up armies might look like. That was an advantage Citadel had over the other manufacturers in the days before web photos and catalogs. |

Like the elf Dragon cannon in particular! Nice collection of figures. |
