Latest mixed bag from the painting desk, short video! Epic American Civil War, 17th century Russian Streltsy (1/72nd plastic) and a couple of GW figures that I am painting for a friend in exchange for a pristine copy of the 'Battle Cry' 150th Anniversary Edition. Cheers, Lee. link |

Really nice painting but as an ACW enthusiast and native Texan I must point out the the Texas flags for your Rebels are upside down. Sorry! |

Really nice painting but as an ACW enthusiast and native Texan I must point out the the Texas flags for your Rebels are upside down. Sorry! Ha ha. I just finished a 28mm Florida regiment and was admiring it when I realised I had mounted the state flag upside down. After much swearing I managed to cut it off the flagstaff, get rid of the paper glued to the staff, repaint staff and salvage the flag with some judicious gluing and painting of extra paper to get it the right way up. |

Shagnasty – I really can't believe I did that and I owe you Texan guys an apology :) I should know better as an ACW enthusiast for decades AND former re enactor who has seen the Texan flag flying on the battlefield, ( I was a Union man, 42nd Pennsylvania)! I will pass it on as they are all now packed up for shipping. Cheers, Lee. |
