A small scale project here, soon completed.Royal Waggon Train ammunition "Tumbrils" as used by Brewer at Hgmt. Two are 3D printed courtesy of Thomas Mischak and three I scratch built onto spare artillery caisson chasses. The figures are a mixture of Hagen, Revell drivers, Scots Grey occifer etc the latter two with Zvezda French heads The mules are the weird looking horses that came with the 7th Uhlans from Strelets. The added ears have been mocked as more like a rabbit's or a kangaroo's.

Terrific work Liam, when I first looked I thought they were 1/32. |

Very nice work and well done to Thomas as always for his generosity. The idea to use the fairly hideous Austrian lancer horses as mules is inspired. Not only are they very strange looking beasts but the horse furniture is wrong too. The lancers however are quite nice and the cigar smoking officer is a lovely touch. Keep up the good work. Best wishes, Chris |

The horses for the Prussian 7th Landwehr Uhlans are the strangest looking beasts indeed. The Plastic Model Soldier Review was actually generous to them, but I always thought that misshapen horses are what I would call mules, if given wabbit ears. The human figures, with Italeri heads from RHA, will make good mounted gunners. Greenstuff soon corrects any dodgy horse furniture. |
