Your campaign was beautifully organized and conducted. I thoroughly enjoyed your reports. Congratulations on an excellent enterprise. |

@Shagnasty, the credit for the well-designed campaign all goes to David Manley who wrote the articles I took it from. |

I liked reading that! I am planning on picking up the Russo Japanese scenario pdf from the Admiralty Group on Wargame Vault. I have the ships just want scenarios. Maybe use David Manley's campaign someday. I plan on using his rules. I'll probably print mine up and sell my old Russian, Japanese and Chinese 1/3000 scale ships from Navwar. I'll print up new ones. Just gotta decide on 1/1800 or 1/1250. Thanks. John |

@John Leahy, I hope you've got a big table, my models are 1/2400 and battles can feel cramped on my 10' x 5'. I used very simple rules to play multiple games in a session to speed the campaign, but found it was the morale rules that drove the most realistic outcomes. Without these, I suspect we would have battles which ground on to near mutual annihilation. |

I'd love to see your morale rules. Are they buried in one (or more) of the blog posts? All naval games grind down to the last ship afloat without them. - Ix |

The morale is very simple, once you have lost (crippled or sunk) a proportion of your largest vessels you must withdraw. The rules used were Phil Barker's DBA (Damn Battleships Again) that are, or wee, freely available online. I did make some tweaks to tailor them to the RJW. |
