New blog post: ADLG Player AidsSince 2021 I've been using my own, two page, game setup sheet at competitions. I've even played against people who use it regularly too! I keep a paper copy in my "rules" folder along with my army list, the official QRS, the latest errata etc. Anyway, I've reached the point where I'm only using the three main tables covering: the terrain choices, the terrain placement sequence & the deployment sequence. I wondered if I could devise an electronic version that would fit on my mobile phone screen. After a bit of messing about here's the results:

That's an interesting concept; it seems that, no matter what rules for what period you use, you keep having to refer back to the tables in the book. A number of rules come with one or two pages of cheat sheets for you to spread all over the table, and I've made my own for those that don't. Having them on my cell phone would be easier to use, and easier to move if you want to take a photo of the battle or find that a unit of cataphracts is about to overrun your cheat sheets. Grelber |
