"In the previous game the British drove the Germans out of Fontenay village and that has brought the fighting to more open countryside. Here the Germans plan to make a stand at the farm of St Nicholas. The sturdy stone buildings sit alongside the road to Rauray and make a fine position around which to anchor a defence. If the British are to make progress they must clear the enemy from the farm and surrounding area…"
