Looking for more info, especially Dolin's brigade that fought in the Kuhmo area during the Winter War. Particularly squad size and equiment and similar things one would need to know for skirmish warfare.
So far all I know is that there was about 1800 of them and when the unit was basically destroyed the Finns captured about 400 SMGs, suggesting that about 1/4 had automatic weapons.

The ski battalion consisted of 45 officers, 78 junior command personnel, and 662 privates. A total of 785 people. According to the table of organization, one ski battalion was supposed to have 48 Degtyarev submachine guns (PPD), 644 self-loading rifles (SVT-38 or AVS), 142 pistols, 6 50 mm mortars, 4 heavy machine guns, and 84 light machine guns. In severe frosts, automatic rifles did not work reliably and were gradually replaced by regular Mosin rifles.

The quality of these troops (the Dolina Brigade) can be judged by the memoirs of Jurjë Hakanen, commander of the 1st Battalion of the 65th Regiment of the Finnish Army: "The Dolina Ski Brigade was very well equipped and armed… The camouflage suits and ski equipment were professional. There were no heavy infantry weapons at all. The most common weapon was a regular rifle, but many had it replaced by a machine gun or a self-loading rifle. There were few light machine guns… The brigade had no supply train. No special attention was paid to supplying the brigade by land. There was no equipment for evacuating the wounded. But the medics had everything with them, including surgical instruments. The brigade did not carry any means of accommodation with them… there were not even tents… The Russian skis were little like the Finnish ones, but they glided poorly. The ski wax was simply unusable by Finnish standards…"
