I know Empress Miniatures make Tom Doniphon from The Man Who Shot Liberty Valance.
Knuckleduster makes a Bulldog Coburn, who is obviously "not Rooster Cogburn" from True Grit. Or is he? Empress makes the Jeff Daniels version.
They also make "The Duck". 🙄

Empress makes a John Ford Stagecoach crew that has him. By the way, Empress is available in the USA from Age of Glory.

I am aware of these from scanning "Shop" listings, but don't own any. Yet.

Any suggestions for figures I haven't listed?
Searchers? Alamo?

I love most John Wayne westerns. But my favorite Wayne movie "The Quiet Man". The cast is superb and the Irish countryside still looked like it did then, back in 2015 when I was there. Even sat and smoked a pipe on the same spot he sat on, on that stone bridge, looking over the same view of that creek. The Connemara region is lovely. I walked the streets of Kong. If you are a movie buff, nothing is in the same areas. The bridge is on the other side of Connemara, not in Kong. The railroad station is elsewhere. The pub was not there during the movie, but had been built later.

White O 'Morn cottage Had fallen into disrepair, but there was talk of rebuilding it. But things like that do not move fast in Ireland.

What about from the movie "Harms Way". Love the movie and the book!

I just looked through Knuckledusters catalog of single figures. I counted five that I would identify as John Wayne.

Nick. What catalog numbers?
I picked out "Duck" and "Bulldog".

I emailed Knuckleduster and got a reply from Forrest at Knuckleduster:
"Take a look at Honest John, The Duck, Bulldog Coburn, and Evans."
"Evans" is obviously, from the text, "Ethan" from The Searchers.
Thanks, Forrest. 👍

Shopping list in preparation.
