Does anyone actually play SP with 10mm figures?

JimDuncanUK13 Feb 2025 2:47 a.m. PST

No, I don't but it would be easy enough to replace a single 28mm figure with a small group of 10mm figures based together and then grouped into a larger unit.

I have done what Jim suggests with 15mm models

Does it matter? If this is what you want to do go for it.
There are gamers who do skirmish games in 6mm. I do 6mm for FIW and Wild West. 10mm should work no problem for SP.

Has anyone actually done something along this line?

I have a few buck shee 10mm figures lying about.

Do I go for round bases or square bases?

Do I place 2 or 3 (or more) figures per base?

Do I use inches as per the rules or do I use cm as per other suggestions?

All helpful suggestions are welcome.

Not sure this helps….

For The Men Who Would Be Kings I use 6mm troops on 40mm wide rectangular bases. Each base counts as two "models" so we mark a base with a hit. Take a second, remove the stand. Units are generally 12 "models" so 6 stands each.

It looks great and is a way to use existing troops with more skirmishy rules.

I never convert to CM but I always have a large table to play on….
