Is this DBA-esque? Do I see some old Minifigs, or maybe Essex figures?

Is this DBA-esque? Not really. You don't use dice for command PIPs or for combat, for one thing. You can see an overview of the system here.

Do I see some old Minifigs, or maybe Essex figures? The Carthaginians (troops with white shields) are Essex. Not sure about the others.
