I enjoy college football not NFL. The new college eligibility rules are making me like it less.

For the first time in 50 years I will not be watching the Super Bore this year. I have absolutely no interest in watching any of it.

Yeah it most likely is scripted. Even the WWF has more of a chance outcome. Sad really !

But hay we still have the multi million commercials to look forward too.

In this day and age of a gazillion streaming packages… and me mostly refusing to pay for them… I'm not even sure I could watch it if I wanted to.

Barring interceptions or fumbles, the chiefs. Of course, I could be wrong and Barkley runs all over the Chiefs.(that is why they play the game) To win against the chiefs, be two scores up starting the 4th quarter AND match score for score. 31 to 27.

I was a huge fan of Saquon Barkley at Penn State.
Then, I felt sorry for him when he was drafted by the Black Hole Giants. Where superstars go, to never be heard from again.

Halftime isn't looking good for the Chiefs

If the fix was in for the Chiefs, somebody forgot to tell the refs. 🤣

Well done, Eagles and especially Jalen Hurts. MVP, and well deserved— Barkley wasn't nearly the factor everyone predicted— it was almost all Hurts.

The Chiefs were thoroughly disappointing. I wasn't for either team, but I wanted an actual competitive game. The Chiefs looked like they could have been replaced by my Titans, and the result would have been the same.🫤

I noted the first dubious call in favor of the Chiefs quite early. That was closely followed by an equally dubious call in favor of the Eagles.
Then, the refs let the players play, having done their job to interfere.
It ended up being a game where the final score was no indicator of how much of a blowout it was.

I skipped the whole halftime extravaganza. Did I miss anything? 😄

As usual the QB got the MVP, when the game was clearly won by the Philly D-line; now that's a fix!!

John, I don't think you missed anything regarding halftime.

Most of the commercials were meh, and the game was pretty boring if you didn't have a dog in the fight.

Halftime— Well, if you like atonal chanting with explicit sexual references implying that someone the singer doesn't like is a pedo, yes, you missed something. Oh, and Serena Williams danced, for some reason. And Samuel L Jackson dressed up as Uncle Sam and made some dumb statements.

Gag.

Here's an idea— book somebody who can sing (or at least play an instrument— and an old record on a turntable is *not* an "instrument.").

The dancers making a flag was a neat touch. And that was the only decent thing about it.
