"TMP: Outgoing Email Problems" Topic

As I mentioned previously, our hosting service has migrated TMP to a new data center and new IP address.

Unfortunately, something about the process has broken the email system. An error is being generated whenever the server attempts to send an email; this probably means the email is not being sent.

This affects any email being sent by the server, including notifications of new PMs, advertiser payment receipts, and new advertiser information.

I have notified the server people about the problem, and expect they can fix this quickly.

Possibly related, using Safari I used to be able to right-click and "Open Link In New Tab" or Command-click to do the same to open up several topics from the main page. Now doing so by either message gives me a Connection Is Not Private warning and I can't get the page. I can copy the link, open a new tab, paste the link and get the page, but that's a nuisance. Chrome works fine. Safari did update the other day. This may be related to the last of HTTPS but I don't know.

I'm mentioning in on the off chance it's helpful or easily fixed. It definitely makes TMP harder for me to use and less fun.

Sounds like a security issue in Safari.

Configuration Error: mivaroot is not defined

Server folks believe they have fixed the mivaroot problem by correcting a configuration file.

Please let me know if you see this still.

Outgoing email seems partially fixed… some emails are going out, some aren't.
