"Almost a year after our last War of Spanish Succession outing in the shed, we finally brought the last of Marlborough's 'big four' to the table, Malplaquet, the biggest and bloodiest battle in Europe of the 18th Century and until Borodino a hundred years later!


Apparently there was some kind of football match going on so Crafthole absented himself. This left me, as the Grand Alliance, and Stuart as the French to fight it out. We were using Bloody Big Battles with my Marlburian modifications…"
