I recently saw an ad on YouTube about folding game tables with raised edges. The table shown in the Hannibal game looks like what was shown in the ad. If so, what can you tell us about stability and size (width and length)?

Thanks for sharing. two of the three games we play up here.

gamertom, The Geme Toppers that are used at Miniature Market are not folding but do separate at the center in the version shown in the photos. Their newer ones are in smaller sections which makes them more manageable to move if needed. I personally have purchased one myself of the newer versions and like it. They do have a leg kit but the ones shown and the one I have sit upon plastic folding tables and are very sturdy. They can be found at gametoppersllc.com

Love that Battle Masters mat. Is that homemade or a commercial product? I very much like that the hex lines are so faint as to be invisible at a distance.

Thank you Parzival.

It's a mat I textured and had printed out on fleece to give this Battle Masters set a bigger footprint.

Along with the wider mat, comes four more hexes added across the frontage to the layout. The guys didn't know it, but I had also added two more units per side (and the games played fine).

As soon as I get more Imperial bases painted up, the battles can continue to increase in numbers of units on both sides.

The project is approaching the quality I wanted, and claim when introducing it to players – as "America's Warhammer", but it still retains the retro-look of the Milton Bradley game with its original figures and tower and rules.

I've been very tempted to add new figures to the units (like flag-bearers), but then have pulled back from doing this, to maintain most of the game's classic look.

The original had expansion sets, so having more units isn't outside of the original design.

Again, great looking game!

Reading that you like the current look, lets me know I'm getting things right.

(and I appreciate your input Parzival)

Here's a view from across the short-side of the table. I got to play in this last (4th) game of the day, and my opponent Bob, who had played in all the games, and I think really enjoyed the experience…..thoroughly whacked me in this round, btw.
