Thank you for the kind words. Interest in the SYW remained dormant for 10 years, but rekindled after reading a TMP post titled "Rule Longevity". Streamlining the classic 44-page rule set into a fast play system was the primary objective, secondary, reorganising and refurbishing the SYW collection. The variant is now 5 pages and subsequent testing will no doubt add an extra page. The four armies are essentially rebased, however, there remain 100 elements; these will flesh out existing armies and perhaps create a fifth. What will drive the project to a higher gear are the dozen scenarios planned. These are modelled after the late 17th century set, designed in 2023. The SYW set will have more detail regarding troop types, morale and the quality of generals. Kronoskaf has been an invaluable source for this. |

Thanks for the mention of Kronoskaf, mate. That's a big French force you have. Can we expect British and the NW German states next? |

I will have photos of the Hanoverian, Hesse-Kassel and a very small contingent of British uploaded on Thursday. Tomorrow, a clash of cavalry between Prussia and Austria. |
