I found some info stating that at the defence of the church at the Battle of Madonna dell'Olmo there were 3 combined battalions of Granaderos Provinciales; at first I thought they were the companies of the Spanish regiments fighting at that battle but then I found info like there were indipendent units, dressed in the same way (!) and I got confused. Someone is able to explain this troops?
