"The Pledge February 2025" Topic

The start of a new year. The numbers have gone back to zero and optimism abounds. I've been doing The Pledge since 2015 to date I'm 160 figures over bought to painted. Let's see if we can raise that number in 2025.

Bought – 31 28mm Hinterland Miniatures.
Painted – 55 15mm WW2 Infantry, 10 30mm MLS, 7 28mm other.
The month – +41

YTD bought – 31
YTD painted – 72
YTD – +41

Bad start to the year. finally made my yearly order to Old Glory. Also painting for someone else. Hopefully will do better next month.

Monthly Total= -431

Well, I bought 21 figures in January. It was supposed to be 22, but one of the packages was a figure short. Just as well, because I painted 21 figures this month. The completed figures were 20 Askari Tirailleurs Senegalais and one Viking.

I was painting until about 10:00 last night to get to this break-even point, to make up for doing nothing during the middle of the month. So, I guess the whole Pledge concept thing provides some motivation.

Well, I am back at this year. Last year was too hectic to keep track. so here we go

Unfortunately I lost this last week to the flu so it should have been closer or on the plus side for painting. There is always next month!
