Romani Ite Domum! – De Bellis Antiquitatis Themed Tournament
The ‘Wars of Antiquity' returns to AdeptiCon in 2025 with this four-round, themed tournament. From the misty moors of Britannia to the desert plains of Judea, the Roman Empire spans the known world. But the Roman legionary faces opposition from every corner, and the enemies of Rome won't rest until their lands are free of the oppressive invaders. Aqueducts, sanitation, roads, education, and wine aside, what have the Romans ever done for us? It's finally time that the Romans go home!
Romani Ite Domum! will use the DBA 3.0 rules. Players should bring two DBA armies. The first is an Early Imperial Roman (II/56) force, while the second is a non-Roman opponent of the EIR (see II/56 Enemies). Any Enemy is valid except II/56 and II64b.
Players will play two games with each army, alternating between their Roman and Enemy force. Playing mats will be provided, but players should bring appropriate terrain pieces. There will be an award for the top player Overall (the Gladius) and an award for Best Appearance/Theme.
The tournament will be on March 29, 2025 9:00 AM-3:00 PM CT
It requires an entry ticket into Adepticon and $30 USD event fee.
