I would suggest painting urethane-stain, a dark Walnut color, onto the chopstick ladders, to age them a bit (a matte clear coat will dull the shine). I adore gaming in 54mm. It has the most visual impact, IMO. I also prefer a bigger table for 54mm games, but I play with Army Men, so with vehicles, more room to roam is needed.

Very impressive! I have gamed Jackson's Night Battle of Dec. 23rd in 54mm. I would love to run a New Orleans game, but I don't have enough figures. Your game and photos are inspiring me to collect more figures!
