link A book I found on Internet Archive THE ARMY LISTS OF THE ROUNDHEADS AND CAVALIERS, CONTAINING THE NAMES OF THE OFFICERS IN THE ROYAL AND PARLIAMENTARY ARMIES OF 1642. EDITED BY EDWARD PEACOCK, F. S. A. |

Excellent for the Parliamentarians but pretty useless for the Royalists of 1642. The author was living in London at the time so had great access to the raising of Essex's army, but had to rely on press reports for the Royalists. These, unsurprisingly, tended to be 'fake news'! |

Yes! The IO lists for Royalists. There's also a good Royalist Officers group on FB, it's fairly new and at the moment is full of information from Victor Judge. Parliamentarian lists the online Parliamentarian officer lists |
