"This is just the setup for the game with the German defences deployed. It takes so long to set up, play, then put away, I didn't take the time to photograph the game in play. If i did, we'd still be playing it! I don't like my game pictures much, anyway, there's always hot spots, which pisses me off! I do like how the tables turn out, though. I looked at lots of photos and google maps satellite images to get a good idea of the terrain. It's a totally fictional place, but informed by reality. Let's just say that Monty's "Ideal tank country" really favours the defender! And we do historical deployment, none of this, my company against your's, type thing. We had one platoon of German 89th infantry division with some heavy weapons against a company of motor rifles supported with tanks. We're using Crossfire rules, heavily modified. They're probably closer to home rules than the original game…"
