Thanks for getting the report on-site Fitz! This little Flea Circus action played out nicely – post-game, the guys said the situation offers a lot of replay ability (I think they wanted to give it another go right then and there)! |

That is certainly an excellent looking game Fitzovich and FlyXwire! It is also a testament to the scenario that it can be played several times with different outcomes. It was great to see it here! |

Cpt. Pete, thanks bud. I bet you would enjoy reading the wartime article that the scenario was inspired by. When I read it, and it's a frank, Red Army critique of Soviet combat performance(s), it struck me as presenting a perfect attack v. defense battle problem. Also, as I read the article, it reminded me of many wargaming performances witnessed too. I think the article speaks for itself, resonating back again from those hard times on the Eastern Front: link |

Very nicely done! Terrain and units are a feast for the eye, and it is clear that the scenario had a genuine historical base which appears to have come through in the game-play. Hits all the key points in my book! As a bonus we also get access to the original source material! Oooh, tastey! It is indeed an interesting read-through, and can provide base material for two scenarios. I look forward to applying that content myself in a Eastern Front scenario or two. Thanks Fitz, for posting the AAR. And thanks, FlyX, for posting the source link. -Mark (aka: Mk 1) |

Mark, thank you for digging in! I did advance the scenario to 1944-45 equipment, that I have in the quantity needed for the units. It would be fun to do it with PzJag. Marders, reflecting the report's 42-43 timeline. Lots of interesting variations available to use along with the action's basic 'template'. |
