Last night's Gaslands game was "Fear the Slamboni!" a race set in a Wintry Wonderland.

The table was 8 x 3 with loads of terrain. We had 4 players plus the Slamboni which moved each gear in a random direction, ramming anything in its path.

Special rules were as follows:

  • Each driver had to roll 1 Shift die in addition to any they roll for handling, to reflect the icy conditions.
  • Colliding with terrain resulted in a Wipe Out (in the ice you bounce). Next Gear you got a free pivot to reset.
  • The Slamboni moved each Gear in a random direction. It always smashes and is always considered moving Gear 4. It moves in all Gears regardless, and takes no damage or hazards.

The Fall Guy got crushed by the Phantom 309 in a collision, while Oddball and BJ McCall drove like drunk teenagers, constantly lsoing control and running into the terrain.

A great time was had by all. Bits were distributed so drivers can modify and paint their rides.
