Are these still available? I have a a couple of battalions of Wurttemberg infantry and some cavalry that I acquired nearby 40 years ago. Was wondering if they are still being produced, as I would like to round out the units. I am based in UK.

The link is to a website under construction but it gives contact details including an e-mail address.

Good luck!

They were available, but appear to have disappeared again.

You might try eBay and add it to what I think they call a Wish list. They are pretty good about notifications. I have had good luck with that. Admittedly Jacobite may be pretty scarce.

Good luck. I know the frustration.

Jacobites-were they the ones Simtac made? I remember the lead crackling as I straightened the figures on the bases.

They did have a reputation for fragile ankles. I had a few of their Duchy of Warsaw figures, a high percentage suffered from snapped ankles

The newer sculpts fixed the weak ankle problem. French and Prussians were re-sculpted in the late 90's to early 2000's. Some Baden and Italians as well (I used to help with casting for SimTac). They were pretty sturdy troops. Last I knew, the molds were held in storage in Montana or the Dakotas by the person who bought the line. That was 20+ years ago, so I don't know what their fate may have been. As mentioned above, you can (sometimes) find them on eBay or Noble Knight.

The moulds were bought by a chap connected with Reading Wargames club iirc. He started selling casts within the club and slowly to a wider audience. There was a functioning website until fairly recently. I tried to buy some sample ECW figures, they were added to the shopping cart but then it didn't progress at the check out stage. The url shows as 'new site coming soon'.

For those of you on the 'wrong side' of the pond, they were licensed from the original Jacobite Miniatures company, whether the new owner continues the license is another matter.

Elite(the current owner)'s FB page was last updated in 2020.
