Anyone interested in attending Cold Wars 2025 can now purchase badges on Table Top Events:

Event submission doesn't close till Feb 2nd. With the short turnaround from the last con I'm not surprised. I haven't even decided what I'm running yet.

It is true that you can submit events until the 2nd February. However if a GM wants a free badge, they have to be submitted by the 7th January (tomorrow). So I suspect that most events will be submitted by tomorrow.

Where did you get this information Martyn? I did not see it in an email, and I do not see it on the website. Directly from the website.

"GAME HOST
EVENT SUBMISSION INFORMATION

Events Registration closes at midnight on Sunday February 2nd!
IMPORTANT INSTRUCTIONS!!!

All Game Hosts MUST HAVE AN ACCOUNT IN TableTop Events
- with FULL AND PROPER CONTACT INFORMATION (i.e., valid email address & telephone number)"

Nowhere does it mention a cut off of Jan 7th.

This information appears to be outdated. Tabletop events says right on the website…

Event Submission

Submission of Events (e.g., games, seminars, etc.) is OPEN. The deadline for a free GM badge is 11:59pm, February 2nd. For full list of requirements for a free GM badge read the GM Information.

here is what the GM information says on table top events

Game Host Policy
A primary Game Host will automatically receive a free Convention Badge IF they meet the following requirements:

Must have a valid HMGS Membership* at the time of Event submission AND through the end of the Convention.
Must have Events that meet the Hosting Hours requirement (i.e., number of players x playing hours => 16). Typical games have 6+ players lasting 4+ hours. Hosting Hours of multiple Events run by the same Game Host will be totaled to meet the Hosting Hours requirement.
Must submit the event by February 2nd.
Please Note: HMGS, Inc. and Convention Management reserves the right to refuse any Event or admission.

Will any additional vendors be attending Cold Wars? I was looking at the vendor list and counted only 17 which seems like a potentially historic low and is just over a third of the number on last year's Fall In page (on the Exhibit Hall map). Moreover, I was surprised that several of the stalwart "anchor" vendors are not listed…

I only see non-member rates on that tabletop site.

I'm still paid up till historicon.

what's the deal?
