My last battle for 2024 has been a testing out a new scenario for use with Sharp Practice rules, in which neither side knows the enemy's strength or objectives at the start. It went quite well, even though I lost. A report and pictures are here link The figures are 28mm, mostly by Bac Ninh. All are painted by my son and the scenario design is his as well. |

Great scenario set-up and fun looking game! Boshin War keeps bubbling under as a potential future project here… |

Very interesting choice of period. What made you pick it instead of the traditional Sengoku era? |

For my interests, I opted to start with Sengoku because Test of Honour is a fun game, supports more sales at the FLGS where we play, and is far more likely to encourage other folks to collect and paint minis. Sengoku is overall super symmetrical. Boshin is quite asymmetrical and a potential follow on project once I have built a sufficientry of terrain for ToH. |
