Saw there was some new Christmas ep out.

Any goss?

Let me guess, Mrs Claus showed up (no, not the MacFarlane one, alas)?

They dragged (no pun intended, but I'll take it) in some more actors of a certain group?

I'm still waiting for the Rani to show up again.

Hmm… I wonder what Mrs Brown's up to these days?

The Doctor and the Rani meet in the crashing wreck of the BBC show, I mean spaceship…

"I'm the Doctor."

"The Doctor? Pfft, go Bleeped text y******f."

Audience laughs.., along with half the cast.

It was poor, Mr Moffatt either hits well (Blink, the Empty Child) – or misses like this episode.

I still can't believe he went from Coupling to this dreg.

Better than a lot of the previous Christmas Specials. And much better than many from this season just gone – The Beatles One, The Space babies, Boom, were all pretty dire….

The colourised (and cut to be more pacey) The Wargames was a nice Christmas gift too

2othmaine – Twas my favourite episode when I saw it as first aired. I would have been under 8 at the time.

Not sure why they are colouring them, except for dumb kids who should be taught better.

As long as the original is still available, that's the main thing.

Hear that George?

And Mickey.

The Christmas special was fun. Not the best but a good one.

I'd agree – far from the worst Christmas special mainly because it didn't overplay the Christmas special aspect! I didn't like the method of solving the combination lock TBH, seemed lazy. The actual bit in the normal hotel was quite touching though.

Forget Doctor Who in the New Year…

Wiki – Wallace and Gromit – Vengeance Most Fowl

Whereas the good Doctor got a few chuckles, Wallace and Gromit carried the field with the most.

The best bit – the high-speed chase on the canal…
