You were asked – TMP link Do you play any of the rules in this series, by Bob Cordery? 36% [TIE] said "never heard of these rules" OR "no, I do not play these rules" 13% said "no, but I like the concept" 6% said "I do not play but I own the rules" 3% said "yes, I play these rules" |

Interesting, but a single data point. How many rules do you suppose, are played by more than 3% of TMP members? How many by even fewer? Have we ever asked? I'm remembering a Great Wargaming Survey a few years back in which the most popular rules in every non-GW period but one was "house/home rules." |

I play it, and it's one of my favorite rule sets. |

Agree with Robert. I play it as well but don't vote in polls |

I think, like Robert, that you would get this answer for almost any set of rules. Perhaps try another set of rules in a poll, or a small series of polls with a well known rule set from each of several different periods/genres, and see what you get. |

Well, yes. Ithink you'll find that 97% of us don't play and single set of rules you might care to name, but it doesn't mean they aren't popular. Tbh I'm amazed that as many as 9% own or play The Portable Wargame. |

It's not 3% or 6% of TMP members, its 3 and 6 (percentages rounded up) of 94 responses. Not even respondants, since I believe this was a "pick five" deal, meaning a respondant can click more than one response. It's interesting, but entirely possibly coincidental that 34 responses are counted for both "no" and "never heard". Could be that all (or most) were dual selected by respondants, which would bring it down to the neighborhood of 60 respondants with 90 responses. …a few fewer if the onesey responses were also part of a multiple response by a respondant. |
