The irony of the article is German High Command being criticised for concentrating on two fighter designs.
Usually we criticise them for not being focused!

Hmmm. The author says it had a much faster climb rate than the Bf109, and then 3 lines below says it had a slower climb rate than said Bf109! So which was it?
