Translated from notebook found on North Korean soldier:

How to down a drone.

Upon detecting a drone, form a team of three [people]. The person baiting the drone should maintain a distance of 7 metres, while those shooting should be positioned 10-12 metres away.

If the bait remains standing, the drone will also halt its movement. At that moment, the shooter downs [the drone]

I really don't want to hear about their mine clearing procedures.

I'll handle that. It takes two soldiers to clear one mine. One to explode the mine and one to mark where the mine was planted. Lather, rinse, repeat.

Probably written by a commissar wirh only the sketchiest idea of how drones work.

Having seen too many videos of North Koreans desperately trying to evade drones and falling wounded or dead like flies… I'm not surprised by these stupid instructions… Even worse seems to me the "training" that Russian troops do with "drones" tied to a rope and showing the movements that must be made to evade them… the only possible move is to pray with your hands in prayer for the operator to spare your life…sometimes… very rarely… have worked…

Seems like we should be teaching our troops to shoot skeet, an M203 with a birdshot round would be impressive! Might be time for the return of the Trench Gun from WWI !!!

The North Koreans have a lot of bodies … most are expendable … Even with their high losses in Ukraine.

desperately trying to evade drones and falling wounded or dead like flies…

Works for me …

I saw a YouTube video of a NK soldier being pursued by a drone. The video was recorded by a 2nd drone hovering nearby.

The NK swatted drone 1 with his rifle butt, knocking it to the ground. Sad Sack NK then walked over to it to get a better look. When he was about a meter away the drone 1 operator detonated it.

The Supreme Leader regrets to inform you that…

I have seen a video where a North Korean grabs the drone with both hands and shows it with joy and triumph to his companions who stupidly approach to congratulate him… then… the operator… and the greetings of the Supreme Leader as HMS Exeter has said…

Inch high guy ,+1, they never stoped. Using shotguns and th pleshette round for th grenade launcher, has always been in the US arensal for anti- drone operations.

I thought at the beginning of WWII some were referred to as "Nazi Supermen". Oh … were those the Nazis Putin invaded Ukraine to go after. To make the world safe for democracy .. or whatever.

Legion 4, you were a soldier… Has your army completely lost its chivalrous spirit?
Your enemy's valor must be respected.

Has your army completely lost its chivalrous spirit?
Your enemy's valor must be respected.
I'm no longer in the US ARMY, with 10 years active duty and 2 in the USAR, '79-'92.

I think the US Army has lost somethings under this current POTUS and his admin. But I'm sure some have and will do their duty. As my comrades and I did many decades ago. I'm pretty sure most have not lost their "chivalrous spirt". But more importantly did their duty to the best of their ability.

BTW my Father a US ARMY Infantry SGT fought and was wounded in France by the Germans/the Nazis …And highly decorated …

Regardless, respecting an enemies' valor is not as important as never underestimate your enemy and at the same time don't overestimate him.
