Prince of Essling – Spot on. I virtually record every programme I'm interested in, football games included. Life's too short, especially at my age, to waste it on useless adverts. |

If you are using Sky you can download most of the Hornblower without ads. Sharpe and the final series of Hornblower are on the ITV app (free with ads, geolocated) |

Got the Sharpe programme okay but have not yet had the time free to watch it, so it is a little treat to come. On the negative side, guess which  turned everything off so that the Hornblower episode did not record! LOL |

@Gazzola, That is where "Catch Up" comes in – I see there are 2 episodes from Series 2 (re the mutiny against Sawyer) & also 2 from Series 3 (Hornblower demoted due to peace etc). |
