" We've actually been to Verdun with Tims 54mm stuff a couple of times before, but this game covered a later stage of the battle and took place during one of our f2f Friday games. How Wonderful! How Ambitious! How-the-hey did they actually pull this off?

And so good to see that Padre Paul Wright's masterpiece of "Funny Little Wars" being played to the hilt.

A woefully underappreciated rule set whose whole spirit is the joy of "playing at war" with toy soldiers.

Well done to all hands!

Thanks. My pal Tim has insane amounts of 54mm stuff and we have access to a large hall to play in, so we often do big FLW games. Paul Wright came along to one of them.

The last game we did was the Siege of Paris in 1849, and next up is the German attack on Westerplatte in 1939, which will feature a large and very rusty battleship.

Martin!

The next time you see Padre Paul, please give him my warmest regards and best wishes for him and his family.

A Gentleman Wargamer if ever there was one!
