Although I am mostly an historicals wargamer (I play Lion Rampant, especially), when my nephew started getting into miniatures gaming we played a lot of Dragon Rampant. I ended up writing a web app for running tabletop campaigns, where you start with a blank table and progressively fight (and adventure) your way across it. I have finally published it for others to enjoy – you can find it at: link The app is called "Eldmark" – a generic fantasy setting for use with DR. It is very easy to use, but you need quite a few figures and a lot of terrain! (The other apps on the site are historical, but you might be interested in them: applicationofforce.com ) Give it a try! We had a lot of fun with it – and it's free. Give your Dragon Rampant games a bit of a change-up… |

The only thing I would add (if it's not already available) is an option to update the log with combat results. |

Col Durnford: I am glad you mentioned this! If you just type the combat outcomes into the results box after the fighting, this will get carried over into the log. That way, you have the basic text for doing an after-action report (etc.) by copying and pasting out of the log box. No support for pictures, though… |
