Nice work, Tom. What did you use for the leafy plants in the farmer's field?

Thanks, Guys! Bobspruster: I used two different methods that I had kicking around to try for a while. One was the use of tufts by Gamer's Grass (their GG2-DM) because there are many shapes and can be cut (if necessary) to fit. While they have an adhesive backing, I first laid down Elmers (PVA) to ensure adhesion. The second way was a simple bead of Elmer's then sprinkled with flocking. Faster and added another color and texture. Be sure to leave a few small gaps down the rows where the "seeds" did not develop. Growing multiple veggies (possibly for home use) adds to "the story" for me.

I'm working on some bases where you can scenic then drill holes and plant one's trees where ever you want. I bought a bucketload of of good looking and cheap trees from Amazon that don't come with bases. Making the bases big enough for multiple trees-one does not need to make 100 separate trees- a pain to lay down and pick up from the game table. Scatter terrain is the way to go for me.
