I have a slightly more expensive folding lightbox – mine should have been £50.00 GBP but I picked it up for much less at a photography show: an Orange Monkey Foldio. Mine has two sLED strips. I've had it about 6 years. Really like it, but I have recently given it a bit of a lighting upgrade.
I now also use two small LED adjustable light sources on tiny tripods, which have resolved lightning issues (now have better, more reliable, and adjustable light sources). Run off two AA batteries. Mine were about £10.00 GBP each, pushed the boat out and got Joby gorillapods (which were on sale at the time) for £8.00 GBP This setup was originally intended for another purpose, but it has raised the bar considerably with the Foldio.
Have a search for Newer CN160, which is an LED light, mini tripod and gel set for the ridiculous price of £11.00 GBP Neewer make some good quality photography lighting. My lights are different to these, but are very similar.
I prefer the light grey back drop that came with the Foldio. Textured, almost velvet like paper ( very reminiscent of pastel paper). It's the only part that has started looking tired (MDF bases have started to stain the backdrop). Replacement backdrops had been more expensive than a new Foldio, but they are now available through Amazon for £15.00 GBP Just ordered a set.
(Nice brushwork btw)
