Does anyone have links/information on the above. I'm looking for the sort of detail to let me wargame the period in particular parts of the larger tank battles, so orbats from brigade level down and equipment used. Google seems unhelpful.

It's a conflict that I've been tempted to game. I was planning to game it with a modified version of Rommel. Perhaps one day. Wargames Vault has alot of the Tables of Organization and Equipment fairly cheap to download. Additionally, Osprey has a good book on it: link

You can find some wargaming threads on it here as well as online: TMP link

Thanks, the project appears to have died an early death since no one appears to make an M48 Patton kit in a scale below 1/35.

I think the Pakistani armor was comprised of the M47 Patton. It is available in 15mm, 10mm and I have to imagine it is available in 6mm and 3mm as well. What scale are you looking for?

I focused on the Battle of Asal Uttar with 10mm.

@PAR 1/76 or 1/72 I want the pleasure of building the kits as much as playing the game.

We did some India-Pakistan games in 6mm..iirc all the scenarios came from Command Post Quarterly.

Check the board games of the war, there are several, to get ToE and OBs. Strategy and tactic covers the war in two different issues. Decision has a folio game on it.
